A few words about us

NLEMA – North Lanarkshire Ethnic Minorities Association is a charity offering services to all members of the community by aiding in the settlement and integration of ethnic individuals and groups within North Lanarkshire.

 

Building a safe and diverse environment allows New Scots to feel welcome and be a part of an equal and united community.


Our aim is to provide services that meet the needs of those requiring advice and aid.

 

Our aim is to ensure culture and heritage are engrained in the fabrics that our societies consist of by offering arts, music, culture and entertainment to bridge the gap of segregation. – welcoming all people’s from all walks of life is our speciality!

Mission Statement

 The North Lanarkshire Ethnic Minority Association (NLEMA) empowers ethnic minority communities by providing resources, advocacy, and opportunities to promote equality, cultural preservation, and social integration. We work to eliminate barriers, challenge discrimination, and celebrate diversity, ensuring every individual can thrive and contribute to the community.

Through unity and collaboration, we strive to create a society where everyone can flourish with dignity, free from discrimination and inequality.
